A good friend happens to be a NSW copper, and with a background in psychology and a unique perspective on the emotional toll of policing, he and a co-worker intended to launch a business facilitating frontline workers with mental health and trauma care.
Life got in the way as it often does, and he might still have the idea in the back of his head, so one day it might be time to dust these off.
Firstly I have a thing for tall, thin typography at the best of times, ‘C’s’ in various configurations were intended to convey connection or interrelatedness, the three-armed swirl shape said something about being fluid yet systematised and the chequerboard pattern is simply intended to refer to the police (as is the red and blue colour scheme if you didn’t catch it at first glance).
